Rainy Days

The weather has cooled down considerably here in Baguio City and the rain has begun to fall. In fact, the rain started to fall this past weeks so I think we are moving into the “ Typhoon” season earlier than expected. The typhoon has kept us inside for far too many days.So we won't able to stroll around the city until the weather will calm down.

Open Sea

It's time to head to the beach. The wind blows through your hair. The warm sun bathes your skin, sand caresses your feet. The waves sing to a perfect rhythm and the coconut trees gently sway against the breeze. If you love the sun and the sea, the beach is the right destination for you. So grab your sun tan lotion and your Frisbee and go frolicking to the beach.
San Juan is a resort town in the Philippines province of La Union, known for its unspoiled beaches and world-class surfing. If you are a beach bum then La Union is the best place whether you need to sunbath, surfing lessons or an amateur or a veteran surfer yourself, La Union offers fine black sand beaches with surf breaks from the South China Sea.

Audrey Hepburn Inspiration

I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles.

Last Day

Before he left Baguio City, we went first in Lourdes Grotto. The Lourdes Grotto is another Catholic shrine and place of meditation in Baguio. It is located on a high hill in the western part of the city where you will find the image of the Lady of Lourdes.
This is the day that I have not been looking forward to. This is his last day in Baguio City. I will sorely miss my best friend :(

Weekend

Before we went into a bar, we pig out some Japanese and Korean Food at Hodori Restaurant. I'm such a sucker for Asian food and the price is pretty good too!
Korean Appetizers
Kimbap- these are Korean rice rolls sushi because at first glance, they do resemble the Japanese rolls that Westerners associate with sushi.
Gyoza Ramen- Not bad gyoza filled with prawns and meat. The soup base was quite a good pork soup, but a bit more Chinese, rather than authentic Japanese
Seafood Ramen- seafood became an important ingredient of ramen soups. But let's not forget also the seaweeds that can add color and flavor to almost any ramen dish.
Kappa Maki-  a kind of Hosomaki filled with cucumber, it's one of the most popular sushi rolls.
